I have been putting this off for ever since I moved in with my partner in March.

We are currently buying a house together so things must be serious :eek:

Anyway my reason for this post is when I moved in with him we doubled up on various DVDs and CDs and been toying with the idea of selling what we have doubled up on, but then in the back of my mind I have been thinking that they are mine and I dont want to sell them cos they are mine.

This is a question I keep wondering? Not that we have double but should I sell all our CDs and just have them on our computer and Ipods? It would make us some money and save us some space.
If I had 2 copies like you now seem to have I would definately want to sell one lot but like you say who's do you sell so sell both copies then its fair and back up as the previous poster suggested.

I'm in the process of doing this... bought an external drive with a stonking amount of memory and currently in the process of backing up all CDs and selling them.
My computer is hooked up to my beautiful stereo anyway, so I can still play them in the same manner as CD.

that'll help towards my debt... I've got HUNDREDS of CDs (music is a MASSIVE part of my life!).

you guys should look into it!

just sell them all once you have watched them or listened to them a couple of times they end up on a shelf to only ever gather dust.
