Is ther such a thing as 100% mortgage? :(

my partner and I are trying to find a 100% if not 110 % mortgage ?! For one reason and another we have no deposit and though should be better off at the age of 33 and 40 we aren't! However my partner is offshore worker and earns around 60k . I'm a dog groomer from home and earn £15-20k ! We have no deposit and have seen a great place which needs lots of TLC which we would do over time! I have a little to redo my garage Workspace should we move and that's it! Help please! This house is so right for us :( gutted! Thanks Shelley x

£4-5k take home coming into the house EVERY month - and you've not got a deposit? It wouldn't be hard to start now to be honest.

There are 100% and sometimes even 110% mortgages but I've not seen any for First Time Buyers, generally only for remortgages in negative equity.

Those kind of mortgages for FTB'ers haven't been available since the recession, and for good reason. You might be able to get a 95% mortgage with or without the Help to Buy scheme, but these have pretty strict criteria.

The good news is that with such a high joint income you should be able to save for a decent deposit quite quickly. Move to a smaller rented house, cut down on luxuries, etc etc.
