Electoral roll

Hi,

I have just moved out of my parents house into a rented property but I hoping to buy a property in the next 2 years.

Im still on the electoral roll at my parents but is it best to get this changed to my new rental property?

Thanks

    Yes.
It will help the scoring of your application and lenders will not be questioning why you are registered at one property but your bills etc are registered at another.

Unless someone is a Del Boy type character there really isn't much sense in not being on the local electoral roll.

    Yep. Either or...!

Have everything at the rental address, or everything at parents.'

Biggest problem we have with the young is they have half their stuff at their parents and the other half at their own home and trying to provide evidence of address and ID which matches the voter's roll is a PITA.
