Irish Rail looking at adding a spur out to the airport so we in Northern Ireland can get a train directly there..... Genius!!
A shame the same enthusiasm couldn't be shown to get one to our international airport..... Antrim 'aint that far away!! !!!!!! you can't even get a train to the city airport without having to walk the guts of half a mile or more in the p1ss1ng rain...
Will just add another string in the bow of Dublin Airport over Belfast's airport.......

We can't be wasting our money here on transport links.
We've got commissions to set up, inquiries to make, quangos to give jobs to the boys and tax cuts for the already rich.
We've no time for that infrastructure malarkey.0 -
At 500 million euro, it'll never happen.
A halt and a bridge opposite City airport - would the airport not pay for that? Surely they could justify it?“What means that trump?” Timon of Athens by William Shakespeare0 -
Trains to either of the Belfast airports aren't of use to me personally, £17 in a taxi to the international takes me from door to door. It would cost me more in fares to get down to the train station, plus train fare and back.
Same as the City Airport - £6-£7 in a private taxi will take me from door to door.
Train to Dublin airport for me is more useful, and I for one would be grateful for it.
If it happens anytime soon I'll be surprised though.Pay all debt off by Christmas 2025 £815.45/£3,000£1 a day challenge 2025 - £180/£730 Declutter a bag a week in 2025 11/52Lose 25lb - 10/25lbs Read 1 book per week - 5/52Pay off credit card debt 18%/100%0 -
Have a feeling this is just dublin airport making sure that everyone in Belfast is reminded about them just as we're booking our summer hols. Doesn't sound likely to me, the Enterprise doesn't run frequently enough to make it a possibility and I can't see our passenger numbers justifying this level of investment...would love to be proved wrong though!0

There is. A good service, running all night. I often use it from banbridge.“What means that trump?” Timon of Athens by William Shakespeare0
