Shared Ownership - Remortgaging when my 2 year Santander Mortgage runs out...

Hi there....
So...2 years ago I started the Shared Ownership process and signed up for a Santander Mortgage on the 25% of the flat that I'm in. In June it'll be the end of the 2 years since I signed the paperwork....so It hink I need to get a new mortgage?! (I'm genuinely clueless on this one...)
Please can anyone give me some advice as to what I do then?! I normally am very Money Saving and shop around for everything...does that apply for Mortgages? What about shared ownership mortgages? I know that lenders don't like to go near us poor people who cannot afford a full mortgage so the pool of providers is limited...
How does it work please?
What would you recommend?
Or do I just stick with Santander and be done with it?
Thank you so much in advance.

Ask your current lender about customer retention options open to you and look at remortgage options with other lenders.
You will need to look at lenders/products specifically for shared ownership.I am a mortgage broker.
