Have any DFWs claimed charges back from Halifax CC?

Hi Guys

I know this should strictly be on the bank charges thread, but I have put it here as well as I know how helpful everyone is on here! Was wondering if any DFWs had claimed back charges from Halifax Credit Cards at all? Am about to request my statements, and I don't know who to make my £10 DPA cheque payable to.

Thanks guys xx
MFW :)

Hi Im claiming back my cc charges from halifax but i kept all my statements (sad i know) so didnt have to pay for them, not sure who you make the cheque payable to i would have just thought the bank and post it to your branch. Your probably better off looking on the halifax thread on bank charges board for more accurate info.

Not had any news back yet but my claim is going through the FO so i'll keep you updated. Let us know how you get on too.

Oh i found this for you on the help thread

Please make the cheque for £10 payable to the bank/building society or credit card that you are claiming from. If you don't have a cheque book, you can send a postal order instead.

And you need to send your letter and cheque to the dunfermline, fife address for the halifax credit cards.

    Good Luck

I sent my cheque for £10 and it ash cashed 3 weeks ago. to date I havent received one letter or even an acknowlegement of of the request.

It took the Halifax 4 months to receive the paperwork from the CCCS in my case so I guess I shouldnt be suprised... the Halifax are just Cra**y when it comes to customer service.
