Sometimes I get fruit from one of my neighbours and one of my friends always gives me fruit and veg from her garden.
One of my other neighbours sometimes gives me fruit or even a trifle (her husband buys them for her regularly but she doesn't always want to eat them so they get given to me).
Mum will give me things that dad no longer likes - I know that I have an outdoor reared pork chop that will make its way from her freezer onto my dinner plate. Sometimes she will make me things too such as a small cottage pie.
I do little tasks for neighbours such as letting them use my green waste bin, or taking in parcels for them and sharing tomatoes with them when my mum gives me some.0
