Hi,

I currently have a residential mortgage on a house in England.
It has been let for two years and I was given consent to let but this
will end this summer.

I am currently working in SE Asia.
I believe that I would struggle to get a BTL mortgage
with my current bank as they insist on a high personal income.
I am earning decent money and the rent easily covers the mortgage.

What are my options please?

    There are BTL mortgages that may do the job..
    There is also atleast 1 high street lender who will subject to underwriting allow you to take out a residential mortgage on 1 property with Consent to let on the basis that it will be your residential property once you return.

    I would suggest speaking to a broker.
