Aldi Almat and Lidl Formil

Quick question, for those of you that have tried both Lidl Formil and Aldi Almat washing POWDER, which do you prefer? I always use the Formil liquid but thinking of getting the powder again. Lidl have the 65 wash pack at the moment for £5.99, I usually wait and get it when the XXL boxes are around but need some now. Thanks in advance for any replies :)

I have been using Aldi's Almat non-bio powder. I like the smell but found that it does not completely dissolve in a cold wash and leaves white stains on black clothes. I now dissolve it in hot water first and pour it into the machine....a bit much fuzz but does the trick as I refuse to throw it out. I'm not sure if either offers a liquid non-bio but I'd be happy to try them.

  • I use Lidls Formil washing powder and find it just as good as any major brand.

Thank you both. I decided to stick with the Formil powder.
  • Happygreen, Aldi do indeed sell a non-bio liquid, no need to keep messing about with the powder.

  • Prefer Lidl Formil powder. Found the Aldi stuff left white marks.
