Trailblazing Wines Email - Seems fishy

So last week I entered this competition to win a case of wine. All seems fine, above board, new company trying to promote itself etc etc.
Just received an email from them saying I didn't win. Sure enough, check the FB page and Ross Bawtree won. Fair enough, good for him, except no link to his profile. No big deal though, that's not uncommon.
But then I read further on in the email. Offers to send me 2 bottles of wine worth £13.50 each for free. All I have to do is make a contribution to the postage of £9.99. And apparently it costs them £11.28 to post so they are making a loss on each one. Not a great marketing technique but in isolation not too suspect. But at the bottom of the email is a PayPal link that you just need to click and then login to make the P&P contribution. The link appears to take you to the PayPal page (security certificate information appears legit) but it all just seems odd.
It may all be above board but it was the PayPal link that made me think this was fishy. I apologise to Trailblazing wine if I've got it wrong they really are giving away wine at a loss. Just thought I should bring it to your attention so if you get a similar email you can make your own decisions. I'm going with the 'if it seems too good to be true' mantra...

£11.28 for postage ? I can send 50Kg for that
A package weighing upto 2Kg can be sent via Royal Mail for £2.80 (less if they have a franking machine or contract with RM)Yes, I know there is no "R" in the word dream in my username - it was setup in memory of my grandson :A0 -
I got the same. I wouldn't exactly call it 'fishy'. It's what they ran the comp for, to promote sales of their wine. I think this is just their post-comp marketing, and actually, it's not a bad deal - 2 bottles of what is prob quite good wine for £11.20, including delivery. I'm not going for it, but I don't feel negative about it/them.

I got that email too, I don't really drink wine though so didn't bother with the offer.0

I got it too.
I'm a runner up so can get 2 free sample bottles if I pay £9.99 for UPS to deliver them.
No thanks if I wanted to buy some wine i'd choose my own.0 -
I recieved tha email aswell, how many 'runners up' are there?? I can get wine cheaper else where so dont want to waste £9.99 on wine I know nothing about0
-
I got it too, if I was genuinly a runner up, then I wouldnt have to pay anything.0
-
My feeling isnt so much about it being fishy, but i feel more annoyed about getting an email saying i am a runner up in a competition but then expecting me to pay £9.99 towards p&p for my 'prize'.
As a marketing exercise, it wasnt a smart way of wording it.0 -
I have just had another email reminding me to claim my prize!0

I take it back. I've just had a third email from them about it. I now feel nagged at, and have unsubscribed.
