Here's an interest post about these tests you may want to read....
Well, I just tried to post a link several times - hacking up the url, but apparently I am not allowed to because I'm a new user - crazy. It's at science based medicine and look up food intolerance tests. Grrr, so angry. Even trying to post without the link, the site stopped me.
It's an indepth look into these tests and the science behind them.
ETA: maybe this will work, but I've had to hack it up. Would someone kindly post the link in it's proper format? worldwideweb sciencebasedmedicine (a dot here) o-r-g (slash here) igg - food - intolerance - tests -what-does-the-science-say0 -

I have just been diagnosed with IBS and consultant suggested trying the FODMAP diet for 2 months to see how it goes. I am only on day 5 but have noticed an improvement to some sysmptoms already. The diet is hard as its very restrictive but will try my best to do it at least 4 weeks and see.0
