Friends boiler unfixable

Hi I wonder if anyone can help, 4 years ago I received a new oil fired central heating system from what I think was warm homes plus as my boiler was not fixable. My friend now has the same problem & when she rang warm homes they told her she could not receive this as she did have a central heating system even though it did not work. When I received this totally free new system they told me as boiler was unrepairable & was not working it was classed as having no central heating system. Can anyone tell me why she is being treated differently or was it a different scheme, if so what was the scheme? Thanks in advance

Hi, can't help regards the scheme, but it's unusual for a boiler to be 'unfixable', as distinct from ' beyond economic repair' unless it's rusted through or burner parts are no longer available. Try another boiler service engineer before writing it off.

A friend of mine asked Warm homes for help as her boiler and basically most off the copper pipes were stole that they couldn't help her they only replace boilers that are there and need replaced :undecided
