Loan interest refund

I'm sorry I may have posted wrongly.

Can anyone advise if I am due interest refund from companies I had loans from. This is Bank of Scotland and another loan fron Northern Rock. Thry haven't contacted me which makes me think I do not qualify..

    Why do you think you are entitled to an interest refund?
    "Dream World" by The B Sharps....describes a lot of the posts in the Loans and Mortgage sections !!!

    They have nothing to contact you about.


    You borrowed money, they charged you interest, you signed to say 'Okay'
    You paid the debt.


    What makes you think that they would refund you interest?
    make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
    and we will never, ever return.

    Sussed it....someone somewhere had a refund of interest for some reason and the OP thinks that this applies to everyone in the UK who has taken out a loan.

    I got refund from first direct, just thought it may have applied to all loans.

    Just HSBC and FD I think.


    *The refund is because they never advised you could overpay and only for loans over a certain time.
