Afternoon/Evening All
Just come back from Morries. Was going for the Actimal 6packs for Quidco cashback. The SEL said £2.29 but my phone via My Super List showed it was on at £1 until 15 Feb.
They only had 2 of the 3 varieties, but I took them to the till incase they had wrong signs up.
I asked cashier to do a price enquiry. They came up at £2.29
I said I'd leave them then as website had said they were £1.
He called over a supervisor. I said MSM site said they were £1 until 15 Feb and that's the site they use for their Match & More.
She told cashier to scan one NOT VIA PRICE ENQUIRY. Lo and behold the offer then shows as £2.29 - £1.29.
She told him not to use price enquiry for a price enquiry.
How stupid is the team that programmed their Price Enquiry not to actually show the price instore at the time of purchase (incorporating any offers)
Anyway the cashier learnt something new and so did I
Mine said £2.29 but price checked at £1 and also went through till at £1. Hth xxCherish those you have in your life because you never know when they won't be there anymore.
No matter how you feel, get up, dress up & never give up.0 -

:rotfl::rotfl: Maths does seem to to bring the deevil out in the Elite :rotfl::rotfl:
Im a "roughly" kinda girl in my thinking savvy ..... My 6 year old has Aspergers though so I find myself having "literal" conversations every day, I am trying to adjust to his way of thinking to avoid conflict
Thanks for the help anyhoo Munqui, I think we spent too much time on percentages this week, me and dd went a bit number blind for a bit :rotfl:
I'm sure he'll be trying hard to avoid conflict.
(Or maybe that's just me. Speaking from the POV of a person who has Asperger's (ha, ha, I have authority:D - wish I was a parent so I could be bestowed greater credibility over what's on TV before 9pm:rotfl:), the effort, sheer mental effort sometimes, I put in to avoiding conflict... The lack of ability to negotiate is a deficit too in that area, unfortunately I put all my cards face up on the table for the other party to see:(, they have the edge, I ought not: I can't lie:(:(. Can't pretend. But - :idea:maybe my facial expression gives them no clue and perhaps I have the edge there (but not when all my cards are face up:()?)
Folks, the issue has been risen again over the way we now do shopping - bill being quartered etc. and Evangeline raised a similar issue, as a question, several days ago. I'll try to get round to summoning up the energy to reply before this thread's over - can't be bothered I'm afraid to bring myself to the time, sitting down, going through it and writing a post. (Instead I'm writing this drivel about how I can't be bothered...:rotfl:):A0 -

I'm thinking L 'Oreal Elvive Smooth & Polish Conditioner 250ml could be a trigger in the 2 FOR £4.00 range.
http://groceries.asda.com/asda-webstore/landing/home.shtml#/product/910000999869
All the other L 'Oreal Elvive 250ml shampoo and conditioners are included in the 2for£4 mb except this one.
Would need to check in store.
Unfortunately, no brilliant comparisons.
Best I can see are the Gillette Shave Gels A £3.97 v S £2

or
Herbal Essences Beautiful Ends Protective Intensive Mask
(200ml) A £3.79 v M £2
