    tbw Replied on last thread

It was through a solicitor and cost about £500 but in the event of any problems then we are sorted

Thanks for the new thread Rhosy

Thank you - I saw your reply but couldn't answer as the thread was closed. We should have got this done when we did new wills several years ago but didn't get around to it. I metioned it to DH after Christmas and , although he wasn't exactly overkeen he didn't throw a wobbly either ! Men do have a tendency to stick their heads in the sand over things like this.

I will get a solicitors appointment when we get back from Sri Lanka next month. One thing that was worrying me a bit was we don't have any close family other than my son and his wife and I don't feel comfortable in handing over full control. I was hoping we could nominate each other with my son as a backup. We'll see what the solicitor says Thanks for the info.

Been at hospital since 3.00pm. Mum has had chest pains and they have admitted her and are going to fit a pacemaker in the morning. They did tell us she may go downhill suddenly so be prepared. I called my sister who is in Nice at her flat at the moment and she is coming into bristol airport at 22.20. When we left hospital she was very distressed as the drugs were affecting her. Hoping she will be better in the morning and that the op is successfull

Hugs rose (((X))) hope mums ok.

Good evening everyone and thanks for the new thread :)

I haven't had time to catch up yet so hope no one is too annoyed at me over my failed glitch info :o I've been feeling a bit sorry for myself tonight because I hate my job and it doesn't leave me enough time to do my favourite obsession, ie glitch finding :D My boss was fully on form today, nit picking at several things I did, huffing and puffing and banging on the keyboard :( so I decided to check what new jobs are available. A new one went up today for an administrator at a local Italian restaurant. I figured that me being half Italian and having an Italian name would give me advantage over the other candidates :p so I got myself dolled up and took my CV in person :) Fingers crossed I hear back from them

    Good luck! :)

Sorry to hear that. My FIL had one fitted last year, was very ill all of a sudden (MIL thought he'd had a heart attack and died, literally came out of nowhere). Pacemaker fitted and been fine ever since.

Annual leave definitely not going according to plan :( DH now poorly with really infected tonsils. He can hardly speak let alone swallow as they are so swollen the nearly touch  He's been given a 10 day course of antibiotics from GP this morning but hoping he improves much quicker.
Took DS2 into the next town to collect some orders. Had given up on Clintons so got some xmas cards in M&S sale. Had New Look click and collect order too :) A fortnight ago I collected an order and it was the solitary package in their cabinet. Today the cabinet was packed full and my parcel was in a great big box of overflow. The power of the glitch... Not a lot left in Wilkos but treated the boys to some chocolate coins. Proud of myself for resisting the wrapping paper :D

PS Thanks for the new thread rhos :)

Ouch for your poor DH. I used to get tonsilitis whenever I was run down, which was frequently as a full time police officer doing 12 hour shifts day and night. Finally had them removed and was the best thing I ever did!

Hope oh is on the mend soon. I used to get tonsillitis monthly amd it was hell. Having them out was the best thing I ever did :) sadly, it's not as easy as it used to be and needs exceptional funding now for removal
