Dunno exactly what this means, but I suspect that if we all nip out to A and can get an eight pack of pepsi to scan at £3.48, NOT £3, then we can fill our boots all night long..:D

Last Friday my OH decided that life would be ended better by drinking a bottle of weedkiller. Needless to say he woke up in hospital and not in heaven as he hoped and we are climbing the mountain again.
My range of emotions this week:
Sadness - how can someone feel that utterly desperate?
Guilt - Did I not notice something? How did it come to this? Why is my loved one laid on a life support machine? I sent him away
Anger - How could he do this to me and our children? We love him every day and he wants to leave us
Despair- Are we really that bad? I have spent 7 years climbing the mountain that is his depression and today I'm back at the bottom.
Love - I love him and I never want him to leave this earth feeling unloved.
Desperation - I SO want him to be ok in the desperate hope he feels happiness again one day
Im struggling folksHow do you deal with it and keep going? I watched the 'young wives ' programme on ITV tonight. I felt for them awfully but at least they are free to build a new life. No disrespect to what they've lost but I have lost everything and it's still here
We need a tissue glitch
I haven't spoken to my husband in a week. He was in an induced coma the last time I saw him.
I have had loads of PMs too many to answer. I am seeing him tomorrow and we will see what happens. Wish me luck because I feel I will need it. Thanks to all who have shown concern :A
Oh that's awful:(, I'm so sorry to hear it.
Unfortunately that's what happens sometimes when people have depression. It's so easy to cut yourself up and blame yourself, but the truth is it's not your fault. It's the effect of desperation on him that's led to this, there was nothing that you could have done differently that would have made things better or worse. No, you're not bad - you've said yourself: you love him. It's the people that care, like yourself, that are always more affected and have all this range of emotions as you've been describing. I know - I've been there (and with depression too). If I'd have done X or not done Y, then my life could be totally different. But, really, it could have better, it could have been worse, but the truth is we'll never know. We just have what we have to deal with. I wish you the best of luck.
As regards sending him away, I could have gone out yesterday and been run over by a bus. We never know - had I not gone out, I would still have been here. I could have gone out and picked someone up, as they do not have a car, but it was rush hour and I asked if they'd been okay to walk. They said it was (I still asked them if they were really sure) and then they did. They got safely to where they were going (sigh of relief) but, had anything happened to them (a grown sane adult of over 30 years of age), it would have been natural for me to have blamed myself. After all, it would 'never' have happened if I had picked them up - but then, if I'd done so, maybe I'd have crashed my car. We just never know. It's always natural to blame ourselves but in truth nothing could have been any different.
Very best of luck:A:).0 -

Remember, there are no guarantees with this and if the Pepsi scans at £3, definitely put it back.
I'm off out now to hammer it so will be back in a bit if there are any other questions. If anyone does have any questions check earlier posts as they should give you details of the glitch.0 -
