    morning all :D

Quick question - Hepatitus B jabs - has anyone had these - we seem to think its a series of jabs. Anything to worry about - anyone had any reactions?

Not for me - I don't go exotic places :)

I have to have HepB jabs as I work in operating theatres. It is a 3 dose course, 1 month apart, and then a booster every 5 years thereafter.

When I had the first course I felt really ill for about 2 days after the third dose, it felt like a really bad case of flu - aching all over , but I didn't feel ill after the booster.

    HTH! :)

Hi jue, that's interesting I had a course years ago but have been told I need another , there was no mention of a booster, I have them because I have dialysis , booster would be easier:o

Hello, looks like the prosecco should give a PP of £2.99 against A, but it needs testing!

I wonder if you could get 4 dessert rather than 2 desserts and 2 sides....
I am not young enough to know everything.

Further to my post the other day about insurance companies putting up premiums for changes to vehicle like colour. I called Swinton yesterday to follow up on the price given for OH's van on the Go Compare site. It was £11.24 per month. So I called to put it in place and went through the form with the chap and there was only one slight error ( one line missing from the address- oh lives in a rented cottage behind his landlords house and only the landlords address shows on postcode searches so another line saying Granny Annexe had to be inserted) and after he had corrected it the price went to £25.48 per month. I said no thanks went back to Go Compare and got a better deal with protected NCB, key and lock cover, replacement vehicle for £12.24 with Sabre. These companies are a joke!

I agree with you, I dislike insurance companies, mr monkey changed jobs last year he was already a driver on my policy but needed a vehicle of his own. When it came to his insurance although they agreed to transfere no claims to a policy of his own with the same insurance company my policy had to change with his new job title then my premium went up by £55 because his employment title changed:mad: they then had the cheek to charge me a further £35 to amend the details on my policy:mad:

So although he does less travel, his job title changed which they deemed worthy of more travel which bumped up the premium. Had they not been the cheapest at the time I would have told them where to go:mad:
  • Some dummy told my kids it was pancake day today.
So lots of ingredients have been bought. Both DD's bouncing around at the thought of having pancakes for dinner.

Pancake day is actually next week.

And yes, that dummy is me !
