What a year :rotfl:
We now have Mrs Fourp's sister not allowing Mrs Fourp's friends to visit:(
Disapproving of Fourp being here & not there also
His cousin also is in on it & has asked for Mrs Foup's mobile back (she gave it to her) saying her OH's mobile isn't working ....
Has also given house key back
Fourp pacing now & getting very cross
I've suggested catching train to see the sea & clear our minds
He says it is too cold
So sorry about this snap.
We found relatives wanted to help but the downside was by the time either myself or sister visited he was tired from visitors:mad: in the end I just sat with him while he slept but I did get the worse times.
As for anyone else 4p and his brother are next of kind NO ONE ELSE.
Maybe they need to visit and set down some rules which could help everyone in the long run. Anything owned by Mrs 4p is still owned by her so the phone should be kept safe and unused except for contacting her friends. The house is Mrs 4ps home and as such only next of kind should have access.
We found this was a good boundary to have. We told my aunt where the key safe was should she need access but she didn't use it.
It is hard but mrs 4ps son's should be in control, if they are not them they must take it. Change locks if needed. Believe me it is easier to deal with awkward relatives now, get the boundaries set and then everyone knows where they stand.
It was a great help for us as afterwards we were left to make the arrangements we wanted with no fear of upsetting anyone. My aunt was very supportive and the one thing she did ask us to think about we saw as her only input so went with her suggestion.
I doubt 4p is a confrontational person but it needs doing now not when he is in pieces later. I think the brothers need to sort out power of attorney ASAP.
Relatives can be hard work as many do not think of relationships for members of the family with a closer blood bond just their own grief.
Hope I have not spoken out of turn but this aunt has no rights at all.
I wish the family hope, peace and love.

I had the same thing happen to 2 out of 4 glasses the first time I washed them from Sainsbobs, had not even had a drink out of them.
Actually got them for DD1 to take to uni, but she was too scared to take the other two.
Literally just ran the dish cloth around the rim and ping, stem in one hand and piece of glass in the other.
I should have complained. :rotfl:0 -

Charlie and the chocolate factory or Matilda (depending on cost). Is there an easy way of planning where to stay in relation to theatre, museum etc. London is soooooooo huge it seems miles from each other.
We always plan trips around tube lines. I think natural history and Leicester Square are same line and we planned a hotel along this line also.
Hotels in theatre quarter are very expensive but past the museum I think Hammersmith was cheaper. We went Nottinghill but hotel had to move us to Paddington which was on a good tube loop.
Hammersmith you can do everything on one tube line.
Definately PD or emmap area of expertise.
Love the natural history museum and heard they are taking the iconic dinosaur in the entrance down soon. I think to me that symbolises the museum and will be gutted to see it gone.
Have great fun. Check out the yplan app for cheap things to do.
