I'm just watching that eat well for less on catch up. How the heck does a family of 4 manage to spend in a week almost what i spend in a month?!
I wondered the same, watching bits of it last night (though longer than a month for me); and over £1,000 in stockpiled food:eek: To give the family their due, they were genuinely shocked at their spending habits, and were prepared to do something about it.

I was just thinking the presenters would have palpitations if they saw the elites cupboards. 'And why do you need 50 packets of these branded biscuits and a decades worth of dishwasher tablets?' :rotfl:
More like 'And why have you got 50 packets of branded biscuits piled up in the bottom of the wardrobe, and a decades' worth of dishwasher tablets on top of the bathroom cabinet?' (And the handwash in the garage. And the banana box full of pasta sauce on top of the freezer; and why did you buy another freezer in the first place? And how much food do you have stashed at friends' and families' houses?)

A reply could be, "Well if you give me their full retail value in cash, then you can have them yourself".

Not stopped this morning. Dropped DS at his placement as he still can't cycle because of his dislocated knee. Dr with DD, who got sent home from school yesterday because her "heart hurt"! Turns out she has got an inflamed rib cage, no idea whats caused that.

Then on to hospital as she had a dermatology appointment. Nice person gave me their car park ticket, and I also passed it on when I left.

Dashed into Morrisons on way back as DD wanted a salad, so would have been rude not to do another biscuit shop!

Dropped her back at school. I just feel like a taxi driver to my kids, it never stops!

Now off to meet a friend for lunch (and relax!). :rotfl:

Do you mean the M&M card?
If so, it's been bang-on three hours for me.

So buying that torch would fall under clause 1?
