Well the Persil tower has grown again! ☺️ Have had to stack sideways now as is wobbling and I had substitutions for some 10 packs which means it's not as neat!

Well done,LM. Hope they're "secure". I do like a good stash.

Is there a list of people who have had more M&M vouchers popping out than they expected or show online?
    Yes, see below...

  • I've got the app on my phone. Took a few hours for the points to show on there, then another couple for the vouchers. I know they're there as it now says I have £15 vouchers.

They will pop out the till the next time I use my card in morrisons. If you want to use the vouchers to buy more biscuits, go and buy something first, then your vouchers will come out. Then you can use them to buy more biscuits!

See above, next time you use your card at the till they will pop out. :)

Thank you very much for your help Ladyshopper :T

  • Jelly's M&M adventures
Got an M&M temporary card earlier today and registered it online first, just out of curiosity that's all:cool:. Then I got the glitch itch and went and bought some biscuits (thanks aau1 and others for the helpful lists of what to buy and not to buy); oh, and some petrol as well, but couldn't find the card so went back instore to get the points registered, and asked how long it took for the points to show up on the account - "A couple of days", said the CS.:(
Got home and checked online, and it looked like I'd already claimed 15,000 points (which I hadn't, only done one M&M purchase). Popped out to nearest Morribobs and asked CS there, they told me I'd have to phone Morribobs CS. Went back home (didn't have mobile on me), phoned CS and explained, he said they'd put the points back on the account (to be fair, he was more worried about getting home after work through the snow - hope he did OK).
Went back out to another Morribobs (larger superstore), went to CS desk and asked how I could get the vouchers. He checked the points balance (was back to what it should be), then took me to SS till and 'purchased' some chewing gum and scanned my M&M card, and £15 of vouchers came out- yay! (Thanks, Asif, the lovely CS man.:T)
Still in the same store, went and got another lot of biscuits, took them to manned till (till just closing, and store was very quiet as well) and paid with the vouchers. (No more vouchers came out this time, hence why I asked earlier how long it took for the points to register.) SA was folding up the receipt, and noticed the points total on this receipt.
"This can't be right", he said. "Oi, Pauline, come and look at this!".
Pauline the supervisor (for it was she) came over.
"Look," says SA, "He's bought all these biscuits and got back all these points - that means the biscuits are free!"
Me, all innocent (I can do 'innocent' when needed), "Oh, are they? Is that good, then? I've only started using the M&M card and don't really understand how it all works. I'm the office biscuit monitor and everyone in the office likes Foxes, that's why I bought them."
"That's brilliant," says Pauline. "Free biscuits! Which did you buy? I'm going to have to get some, too." [Looks in bag and starts making a mental note] By this time there's another couple of CS's gathered round, who were on a break.
(Me thinks 'phew!', I haven't been rumbled, they just want to take advantage themselves.:D)
"Can I get some as well?" SA asks supervisor Pauline. "I can just print out his receipt again and use that as a shopping list."
"No you can't do that," says Pauline, "that's a sackable offence!"
So, SA asks me to wait a minute, gets pen and paper and starts scribbling down the different biscuits. I had my cheat sheet shopping list with me, but didn't have the nerve to show them that, so I told them that it was the Foxes varieties with the More Points.
Me, "So I can just get some more free biscuits, then, for the office?"
"No," they all say almost in unison, "get some free biscuits for yourself and keep the vouchers as well - the people at work will never know!"
As I leave with my biscuits, supervisor Pauline and three SAs are heading off towards the biscuit aisle....
Put the biscuits in the car, then went back in and bought a cheapo item at manned till to see if the new vouchers would come out - nothing doing (maybe I should've asked, or do they come out automatically?), and then left it a few minutes and bought a cheapo item at the SS till to see if that would give me the vouchers - still nowt doing.
It had started snowing quite heavily now, so left it and came home.
But, have rechecked the points balance online and there's an extra 15,000 points on there now, from somewhere. (Maybe the 15,000 I thought had been deducted have gone back on, somehow? Like the vouchers should have come out when I registered the petrol points but didn't? Don't understand that bit, but not complaining about the extra points.)

So, I've got 2 lots of biccies, for the foodbank:), and lots of points still to redeem, but still haven't got my head round getting the vouchers from the tills myself, as it were; I don't want to ask the CS people each time.

  • I thought you were working silly hours when you were in Worksop.

We should have arranged to meet, and invited Pacifica too... x

Oh I was. Driving round London to there, then on to as far as Leeds/Sheffield/Doncaster/Scarborough and back to London. Every day I 'treated' myself to a new Ts :D I have to say though Ts outside of London are way better for bargains.

 That sounds scary and not something I'd fancy trying!

I might be heading down that way myself over the next few days as well. Hopefully going to check out a couple of cars. My dad is laid up at the moment with his back so just waiting to see what happens.

Oh dear :( I hope he's better soon. I keep telling myself I'm going to sell my big one and get something a bit smaller but I've not got round to actually doing anything about it :o
I got a letter for my mini.....speeding fine. DS1 has it  He can go on the speed awareness course ;) He has a notion that he'll just pay the fine and be done with it. Not if he wants to keep using the car, he won't! ;)

I have never been to London... well I tell a lie, I once drove to a house in London for 30 minutes and drove back... and got flipping street congestion fine! I never want to drive in London ever again... but then again it is not as bad as Nottingham.. that is officially the worst place to drive in the world (sorry to everyone who lives in Nottingham... but you know I am right!)

They are closing the T in Doncaster! I do wonder if this is due to the site being a prime location for redeveloping. Whenever I have been in the store it was always full.
