    Morning all :)

Thanks for all your replies regarding match and more, it seems my vouchers are stuck in the green circle , they are showing but nothing printing off:cool:

Bannababe I'm glad your exam went well :)

Nanny I'm glad you didn't have any problems with your coat and that you found something else to spend your pennies on ;)
I think I could have a million pounds and still not come home with any clothes, I seem to have lost that feeling for clothes shopping and just feel everything looks poop ! :o

Have fun with your meet today dip dap :)

Sat here clock watching as I have to wait till 12 and go get Nans fish &chips.im sure I could be doing something useful but my late night seems to have taken its toll on me as I was up at 3:30 for work, I have a feeling it's going to be a long day:cool:

    Morning All,

No biccies for me, sticking to A's as Morribob's is a little further, the opening time's are worse and if I'm honest I don't like the store's lighting, layout etc... Funny as Morribob's offered me a job as a buyer which I turned down, since then they've only had bad news. I think it's a sign ;)

I went to see an accountant the other day who was nice, but I wasn't completely sold. They wouldn't give me even a ball park figure of a price, which isn't ideal when your just starting out. They also didn't sound experienced in cloud computing and e-commerce selling, so I thought I'd gauge the market some more. I rang someone who has other customers who are e-commerce sellers, and deals in cloud computing, I've arranged a meeting for next Wednesday.

Now being the worry pot I am, I'm unsure when I should tell this other accountant... Sooner rather than later?
Should I wait for a quote?
Are they likely to charge me for getting a quote?
They made me sign something but it was only a HMRC form no official contract or nothing, I wouldn't sign one of those without a price.

Also, spent my APG's last night on a double duvet for the new house. The luxury one. Down from £45, to shelf price £30 to £22.50 at the till. Post APG's it was £12.22. No wombles found though :(

  • Thanks to everyone for the info and explanations on biccies.
It took me a while to get my head around but eventually took the plunge and YAY it worked!

I'm just asking a BIG BiG PLEASE. I am a regional collector for a charity that strives to reduce the amount of stillborn births and early deaths in babies in the UK. One of the ways we do this is by recycling biscuit wrappers to raise money which is used to print information leaflets given to pregnant mums.

If any of you lovely biscuit munchers could help by sending me your unwanted wrappers, you would be helping a fantastic cause. Please pm me if you'd like my address and I have posted a link to the charity site to better explain what we are about.

I hope I haven't broken any rules with this post and apologise in advance if I have Redfox

Annoying you just cant help some people, we rang sil yesterday, she takes a packet of biscuits into work everyday for them all to share, she said 'well I can buy some other things as well that I need' she thought it was a lot to spend out on biscuits - its just so frustrating, she finds it difficult to make ends meet, working, recently widowed and no widows pension(shes too young):wall::wall::doh:

Sadly we've all got them...relatives I mean that are desperate to save money but don't want to listen or c.b.bothered;) to get off their bums and do it for themselves. I tried with my sis when her OH was made redundant and she was struggling making ends meet and feeding 2 little ones... I'd send her a message to say I was in @ for example with the rtc wash liquid last year or year before £1 for a 24 wash bottle... Her reply was I don't use liquid:eek::mad:
So I don't tell anyone anymore, I think people think I'm either slightly bonkers or bordering on insane when I try to explain.
At least here we are with like minded people who "get it":rotfl:

Morning all. Blowing a gale outside! Think the rain has left off a bit now.

Sketch does look like Poppy doesn't he tweets? I did think that when I posted the pic. The dogs of the homeless guys she helps all got given leads with their names on, made by one of her Twitter followers :) If anyone is even slightly interested in following the page it's Off the Streets London @otslondon

She got a guy off the streets a couple of weeks ago called John. He now has a home and a job. People have donated items for his new place, crockery, an old TV, all sorts. It really is a lovely page to follow.

How true you are M2M, its great to be on here with like minded people but some who are highly intelligent and me---- slightly bonkers, fortunately my DH is bonkers as well, ;) I haven't come across anyone living near me with the same outlook on spending, or not spending as the case may be.My DH went to Ms on the way to work this morning and bought, well.... got given, umpteen packets of biscuits--food banks watch out!! :)
