Misold mortgage endowment

My Wife and I took out a mortgage in August 1987,as I was in the forces at the time and was posted to the Falklands we took the advice of the Estate agent who was at the time I think an agent for ( Commercial Union which later was taken over by Aviva ) to take out an endowment mortgage as it would pay off the Mortgage and pay out extra, does anyone think it is worth processing a case for this.

Multiple issues here
1 - its pre-regulation (april 88)
2 - Aviva timebarred the vast majority of their endowments between 2003-2009.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). The comments I make are just my opinion and are for discussion purposes only. They are not financial advice and you should not treat them as such. Thank you for the replys, but I might still give it a try as there is nothing to lose, and after seeing your replys if I don't succeed I won't be disappointed.0

Ok. You need to send your complaint to the estate agent as they sold it.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). The comments I make are just my opinion and are for discussion purposes only.
