Refunded 3 years back dated over payment

In October last year I asked for a child benefit check for my son who was coming up to his 20th this January gone. They got back to me 4 days later informing me that my case was closed as of 14th October 2011, and that they would be in contact with me about any over payment i was due back, I had a few calls off the CSA asking if i wanted a refund as my son may of benefited from my over payment!!! I explained that when the CSA went benefit disregard my ex went out and bought a horse and was out every weekend, also when I moved house in 2013 she asked for a departure as she claimed my G/F was living with me, she done this knowing full well that she was not entitled to any CSA payments.
In November and December I was refunded two payments of £292 The CSA contacted me last week and informed me that they where going to refund me £12915.42p, as it had been approved by one of the directors and the money would come from central funding!!
I was also informed that my Ex will have to repay the total amount in full, and the finance dept would be contacting her over the next few weeks to sort out getting the full amount back. :rotfl::T:T:T
My life has totally changed since October now that I am off CSA1 my girlfriend has moved in with me without fear of the CSA taking her wage into account. I have abit money in the bank. and I can decide weather I want to work overtime rather the CSA telling me you earn some much aweek and you will pay this (little more than J.S.A.) so you will have to work ex amount of hours:T:T:T:T
