  • Can anyone point me in the direction of a up date allowable amounts for a dmp?

    Thanks in advance

  • Pedro, you don't need to provide them with any figures at all at the review, simply tell them there is no change and you are happy with the amount you are paying, it is affordable to you and you are paying what you can. If the amount you can afford to pay goes up in future then feel free to contact Payplan and tell them you can afford to pay more!

Seriously do not worry about it, you are not obliged to provide Payplan with proof of anything at all, they only ask you to be honest with them so they can help you out of debt sooner if it is possible and affordable to you. They're there to help, not hinder!

Hi, I have been with Payplan for nearly 7 years and was surprised when they suddenly asked for these documents. I said I didn't want to send bank statements but would send a payslip, they said that was fine and they only ask because of some new regulation. My pay had increased (not massively) but they just helped me to re-jig things so I was paying a bit more but not the whole difference. Honestly don't worry about it, they're on your side and they will never try to make you pay more if you don't want to.

I received an email asking me to send payslips, bank statements and mortgage statement. They then rang to arrange date for review and asked me to scan payslips to them (no mention of bank s/mt or mortgage s/mt) I did say the payslips will show some overtime as we're saving for some work on the house and was told that's fine. I didn't scan them as I thought I'd wait until review date to see if they were requested.
Just had my review and they were as lovely as ever and absolutely no mention of forwarding any documents!

I missed my appointment - due about 4 weeks ago and have not heard anything since. I don't want them knowing everything about me. Our household income is good now but I got into debt before I met my husband. I am worried they will use the household income to try and make me pay more but I feel strongly my husband should not be impacted by my stupidness!
They can't make you provide anything. You could always manage it yourself.
  • Such a relief to see these posts as I really like having control of the information I give PP so I can make my own decisions about what I need to pay out for house repairs etc. I have just received an email from PP this morning and was panicked by their request, so thank you
