My question is, if you do several jobs in one area in one day, do you calculate the mileage between them and just charge that (i.e. home -> job X -> job Y -> home)?

Hi
I put a note 'round trip' next to each job in my spreadsheet and then write down the total mileage at the end. Just remember to write down a number when you get home.0 -
You can only claim tax relief on the round trip mileages. Anything else would be naughty, we'd never do that.Yes it's overwhelming, but what else can we do?
Get jobs in offices and wake up for the morning commute?0 -
I appreciate the help guys!
It's more confusing in the spreadsheet than anything else, I think I'll take your advice Sunny_Spell and just put a note in the cell to remind myself months down the line why it's that way. Have the round trip miles in Job X and 0 miles in Job Y, and just know that the mileage for Y is counted in X...

The best way is to keep a record each day. HTH0

When i have several jobs in one day i calculate the mileage and then split it evenly across the number of jobs. For example, having 5 jobs with a round trip of 100 miles in one days work, i just enter 20 miles each.0

Hi there. I've signed up to Gapbuster and done the general orientation, but it's not letting me look at jobs. Do I need to get 100% in the orientation to do this?Grateful to finally be debt free!0

I really wanted to apply for a couple of jobs today but at work. Couldn't log on with work so used phone but wasn't easy and missed out, really annoying. It can be a bit obsessive as anything decent goes very quickly.0

EC who left and formed si**o was also very fair. The supervisor I think that is being referred to is L I am guessing.
Horses for courses I guess, every shopper should make their own opinion of AA and not be influenced by either mine or other shoppers personal opinions or experiences, but to make personal comments and attempt to sway other peoples opinions really isn't a nice thing to do irrespective of what has or has not been said.
There are other companies that I wouldn't touch with a bargepole, but I am not in the naming and shaming game at all. There are two sides to every story but I never seen a msc name and shame a mystery shopper in front of a such an audience like this.
You are entitled to your opinion about naming and shaming however, the facts are that it is not just one shopper complaining about the tainted Arches. The fact that there are several who are all reporting the same issues is a worry for MS's. We worked in a non-regulated industry where we have to rely on the information other MS's share on this forum in order to gain a better understanding of the general trends in the industry.
The fact that we are also self-employed means that this area is the equivalent to the watercooler at work and the place we all come to share information, sound off and also give praise to company's who deserve it. Based on the majority of opinions being voiced on here, the Tainted Arches do not deserve any praise for the way that they are treating their workers.
I am glad that you have had a good experience with them (so far) but many have not. They deserve everything being said about them on here, which I for one believe is true based on my experience.
Also, why would so many MS's appear to have a proverbial axe to grind with them if none of this were the case?
I for one am happy to remove them from the front page if others wish me to do so as I would not wish working with them on my worst enemy.:rotfl:Survey Queen/Poundland Fanatic:rotfl:0 -
Anyone been paid by gfk? They are usually very reliable but what should be showing isn't yet...0
