At moment we have exchanged a few emails and CR (as I wont apply untill Sep) . He is purely finding out lay of the land and if I have options.

I will be surprised if your broker is doing anything at all - I certainly wouldn't, unless you are prepared to pay two fees. The mortgage market is an ever-changing place and any current research could be completely useless by September.

"He is purely finding out lay of the land and if I have options" I think could be translated as doing "not a lot" and I can understand why.

    Basic answers to your OP.

Credit reports are often not correct and can differ according to provider.

By all means have a chat with a broker and have them address your queries and any issues you may have. However, go back nearer September for more focused advise as the mortgage market could be different from today.

    Have a good week-end.

The broker told me all the fee's. The fee for him would be xxx amount and only payable after he obtained a mortgage(if he could). Now I was recommended this guy. I emailed him he ask basically for a CR to see where we were at. He highlighted some a few thing i.e my wifes income as we are relocating and im in Army that her wage would not count in application. He knows all about my problems from years ago. I MEAN WHY WOULD I HIDE IT??

I simply asked a few questions on her about a stat report to see if they were enough. And get told that broker wouldnt be doing his job or why would he be. I laugh...i laughed harder because I couldnt care less...no money has changed hands. But I bet a penny to a pound this guy replies with my options!!
And as stated the mortgage world changes and could by sep. But surely it can only get better not worse. And as for my credit...it can only get better as adverse goes away(finally!! In july).

    Now thanks again.......

Egg on my face. Broker has not replied after a week! He did say the fee was only payable once a mortgage was found!
    Is this normal?

Or do you brokers usually ask fir payment first?
    Their website says different.

In any bodys honest opinion!? As it was suggested before...should I just wait until I have all the money and after CCJ falls off in July?

Should I just forget it till then?

    Cheers

Yes it seems many of the experts are giving me the wide birth now due to my behaviour.

I cant describe how frustrating trying to get a Mortgage is with out feeling like a criminal for past credit problems.
And sometime people try and state obvious.
All I can say is sorry!
