The HR department bods replied to my emails and have made my P45 and payslips available to me. Nice of them.
I think I have all the info I need now.
When it comes to national insurance contributions, how low does my income have to be for me to be eligible for a small earnings exemption?
I found the info about the NICs: less than £5,885 in the period from 6 April 2014 to 5 April 2015
My earnings for this period are only 3.5K, do I apply for small earnings exemption now (3 days before the NIC is due) or do I just pay it for now and apply for a refund?0
