  • I was confused about whether your Christmas and birthday present costs were monthly or annual. If monthly, I can tell you that charity shops are a wonderful source of cheap presents: the less I spend the more people like what they get!

    Do you really need a landline? I have a cheap PAYG mobile and mobile broadband for my laptop. I try to reduce the usage by going to the library and other places for free WiFi (nothing confidential though).

    What health supplements exactly are you taking?

  • I think people would advise against this, turning your unsecured debts in to secured.

    I think there's so much on this site to get through before making any decisions but thats just an idea... maybe or maybe not a good one!:)
  • Just want to say I am very grateful for all your replies. I never thought that I would get so much helpful info at once! Please bear with me though as I sometimes drop off the map because I cannot use the computer for hours at a time.

    Tax is free because of disability and my partner pays the insurance on the car:)
