It's hard to emote emotion with a few words in a forum message :)

I'm sure most people are ecstatic when they get any win notification, afterall that's what we do it for.
  • I often think that! :) My sister and I have mentioned how if we won something like an ipad or a phone we'd be going crazy and thanking everyone on here, and the comp poster, and be over the moon! I think if I won a holiday or money I'd be in shock and probably burst into tears!! I don't think I'd believe it

And 99% of the forum users don't post at all, but I am sure they are still grateful for their wins and to the folks who post the comps

I am quite a reserved person and have professionally been trained to stay calm in manic and stressful situations, so I now find it hard to let my emotions come across to people I don't know. On Monday, I had a WTC to say I had won an Ipad Air 2 and all I could say was "wow really?" and gave out a little chuckle... in my head I'm saying OMG OMG OMG and doing a little dance!

  • When I got phone call from ITV tell me I had won £5,000 I was over the moon, as my kitchen had just been done out I need washing machine, cooker and microwave

So I was nearly cry and I was shaking like a leaf, and was on cloud nine for rest of the day

Same thing happened when got phone call about winning 3 day trip to lapland, I was shaken for 1 hour afterwards

I think people take things different some or clam when they get a win

People don't all express their emotions in the same way. Some are more reserved than others, it doesn't mean a win isn't appreciated!
  • A couple of times I've won something I've really wanted and I've been so shocked I've not even been able to express how shocked I am. It's only a lot later that I can do the OMG, OMG thing. :)
