I would not waste time discussing 95% loan to value if you had already confirmed you have a 10% deposit.I am a Mortgage Broker

I'm afraid you need a thick skin on this forum. Lots of rude people around here. You're lucky you didn't get called a Troll, it seems to happen in most threadsmissscotia wrote: »I was on the look out for some information, I came to a forum and asked a question. Is there anything wrong with that?

Nothing wrong with asking about it.missscotia wrote: »I was on the look out for some information, I came to a forum and asked a question. Is there anything wrong with that?
I believe amnblog meant that he wouldn't waste time during an appointment discussing them when you didn't need them.
Imagine going to buy a train ticket.
You: Hi, can I have a return to London, please?
Them: Two singles would be cheaper if you'd rather?
You: Oh, yes please.
In this scenario it is worth the ticket office guy telling you about the alternative.
You: Hi, can I have a return to London, please?
Them: Two singles would be more expensive if you'd rather?
You: Um, no thanks. I'll stick with the return!
In this scenario it isn't worth the ticket office guy telling you about the alternative. In reality you wouldn't expect them to.
A 95% mortgage is just a more expensive way of getting a 90% mortgage.0
