Private Parking Appeals Limited

Private Parking Appeals Limited - have these guys also ceased trading? Just tried submit their online form on the parkingprankster's website, and on their own website, but all I get is an 'unexpected error' message.

Comments

  • Just taken a look myself, and it seems to be working fine on the main website. Maybe Prankster's site is having issues.
  • Thanks, I'll try it again. If it doesn't work, do they mind you contacting them by telephone?

They/we have not ceased trading! and would prefer an online application for full details in writing, plus a copy of the PCN and any rejection letter is always useful too. Maybe the wording of the 'application form' is currently being tweaked. Do you need help then Captain Leaky, seems a bit surprising but thanks for the mention!
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Yes I do need help, and don't mind paying a bit for it Nope - the online form still won't allow me to submit it. So I have emailed them the information instead. Hope they reply soon.
  • Hi 4consumerrights, The parkingprankster route to your form would not work for me, but the parkingcowboys site did. Job now sorted, fee paid, rejection letter copies forwarded and direct email comms established. Many thanks for taking the time and trouble.

A quick follow-up. I received the NTK letter today from VCS. I have forwarded it on as an email attachment to PPA LTD and await instructions from them. If anyone from PPA reads this, could they confirm that my plight is on their 'To Do' list please, and that they now have everything they need? I know they are busy, but it would be reassuring to get a response from them just to say they are on the case. Just been examining the original PCN and comparing it with the NTK letter which arrived today. There are two discrepancies - 1) 'Time of contravention' given on PCN differs from that given in the NTK letter. 2) 'Reason for the contravention' given on NTK letter differs from that given on the PCN. Would these discrepancies give grounds to render the PCN invalid? One other thing - the NTK letter has 'Amount payable' in big bold letters on the front, but on the back of the letter there is still an offer to discount this to £60 in small red print. Be wary of these things.
