Endowment please help

Having complained about my endowment mortgage back in Jan 2005 and basically I had no joy, I thought I would try again as the deadline was fast approaching. I requested additional information. I then received a letter saying that they had dealt with this back in 2005 and that they now considered the matter closed and have therefore registered it as such.
Please can anybody tell me if they can do this, or should I carry on and try to get the additional info I requested. The IFA who originally sold me the endowment is no longer operating due to bad practice involving a property finding company who promised £1 million property found if you paid £x.
Many thanks for any replies.

You have 6 months to appeal a complaint. After that the case is closed and cannot be re-opened unless there is a serious reason for missing the deadline. Typically that means being in hospital. You are 2 years out of date so unless you have been in hospital for 2 years, you wont get it re-opened.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA).
