Mortgage Application - chances of offer?!

My partner and I have applied for a joint mortgage with Loughborough BS and received an AIP beginning of January. We have now gone on to full application however I have a few concerns. The mortgage advisor at the BS said that a credit search was done and was ok ( partner and I have a satisfied default which is due to drop in March and partner has an additional one which was issued in 2011 and also satisfied). We were honest about this and she said it was fine that we passed the search. However no searched could be seen on our credit files. We have gone on to do a full application and can now see that a search has been done. We are both good earners 40K each. I'm worried that the AIP was issued before a credit search was made and that out application will get declined. I am yet to send off all of the required documents. Can anyone put my mind at ease? What are the chances that this would go through or is there any other lender out there that would lend us?

You are worrying over spurious concerns.
There are a number of reasons why a credit search may not have appeared on your file for an AIP - none of them sinister.
You now have a search on the file and an application in.
Questions of this nature about your application are best addressed to your broker who is being paid to assist you and knows your case.I am a Mortgage Broker
