4yo default (satisfied)- barrier?

Hi,
Husband and I thinking about moving this year as we are having another baby, so would like a little extra room. By the time we come to do it, we should have no outstanding debt (other than my current mortgage), and around 25-35k deposit depending on how much equity we can get out of my house.
The only mark against us is that we have a satisfied default from almost 4 years ago (Santander customer service at its finest, but exacerbated by poor personal admin). How big a barrier is this going to be for us?
