Affordability 1 applicant Mortgage

Hi all. Loving all your advice and need some more. I have emailed a broker and awaiting response but any body out there got any ideas?
Basically, me and my wife were going to apply for a joint mortgage but as we want to relocate back home(as I serve in Army 350 mile from home) my wife will need to leave her permanent job...leaving me. The advice been so far is that this may cause complications as its to far to commute etc.
Been on Mortgage calculators...Halifax says a house of up to 130k and Barclays 149k. We have around 10k. Probably looking for a house of 110-120k maybe even less and a second hand one. I earn 27k a year basic and have no debt.
My recent credit has been very good and all in green. However 1 default falls off next week and a CCJ falls off in July, they were settled in June 2010. I wont apply untill the adverse drops of and probably at earliest September.
However, I have some 22 pay day loans between April 2010 and May 2012. I will also have 1 account that is also settled in June 2010 with up to 5 late payments on it. These late payments at moment are 5 years old and will be older again by the summer. Everything else is green and has been since 2010 minus the pay day loans. Daft I know.
Sorry, I know some of you would have read my life story before but needed to explain it again for purpose of the thread.
Just say worst case and my wife, because she will be leaving her job can't be included in application(shame because she has a perfect CR)
and I have to go it alone !
Will my current wage 27k + deposit 10k + my CR(which is healing well)= a successful mortgage app?
Do I have a chance by myself?
I have to admit the broker said we have options and it give us both confidence, as this has been along few years waiting and we all know how much I have done all your heads in on here. But he emailed back asking a few questions. One of them being are we both permently and staying in them roles?
This has left us rather deflated(again) wondering if my CR is going to stand up on Mortgage App.
Some one on here did say. That once a Mortgage application is accepted then thats it you can move where you like!..or words to that affect. I have no confidence in this now.
I Have asked him and I will up date when he responds.
Any thoughts? Thanks

The advice is the same here as your previous post - as its basically the same post just re-worded (sorry to be blunt).
Speak to your broker, tell them the full situation and let them come back with what they think will be achievable.
Defaults/late payments/pay day loans could all be issues but thats your brokers job to overcome - and they can all be overcome. Whether they can be overcome for the amount you want is another question but again its for your broker to deal with, thats what they are being paid for.I am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a mortgage adviser, so you need to take my word for it. Its ok saying ask Broker. I have. Just want to know what you guys think!?
And again it may help other FTB.
And maybe it is worded differently only this time it has information on my CR and wages etc. This site is full of Mortgage brokers.I apologise for Boring you ACG. There is alot of post like this. We are just searching for that glimmer of hope!0
