can my landlord take me to county court in this case?

I owe my awful landlord rent and that amount of rent is more than the amount of the security deposit, but I am leaving the UK soon as I am not living here any more.
my question is: can my landlord still take me to county court as I won't have a UK address or any other UK connections any more? I am living abroad.

Yes they will still be able to take you to court in the UK and obtain a CCJ against you. They can send it to your last known address in the UK.

In terms of trying to enforce the debt against you whilst you are living in another country - it will depend on which country you are living in, and whether the claimant considers it is worth the expense to try to find you and enforce the debt.
