Enamel pan - bi carb to clean?

Hi, I've got an old enamel pan that I use to make soup. Unfortunately, as the soup was simmering, it burnt onto the bottom of the pan. Can I use bi carb to clean it, without damaging the enamel? Have put some bi carb in with a bit of water to soak, but can I scrub with it?

Please feel free to merge this with other threads, I searched but was unable to find an answer to this specific question.

I cleaned up some really old enamel lined cast iron pans with washing powder and boiling water, left overnight and came up perfect with no scrubbing.

I use cream cleaner in mine, soak overnight.
