Tough situation with tax credits and joint application

Mortgage experts of MSE, I reach out to you for assistance!
I am a first time buyer with 15k deposit and annual earnings of £29k. I also have tax credits of around 6k coming in as my partner works too and our daughter is disabled so we're in a higher tax credit bracket. My partner (not tied to my financially in any way) is bankrupt due to her ex husband so obviously a joint mortgage is out of the question.
I was banking on being able to use my tax credits to bolster the mortgage that I could afford. Without them, I can get (at least from Santander) 116 - which wouldn't really buy anything in our area, especially suitable for our disabled daughter. With them I could have done £142k, which puts us in the bracket for getting the help to buy for a new build.
What are my best options here? Are there any brokers/lenders that will allow me to use the tax credits allowance WITHOUT my partner being on the application? Anyone have any separate ideas? It's so frustrating as it's not that I can't afford the monthly payments
Any help appreciated!

When was your partner discharged from bankruptcy? Its not impossible to have her on the mortgage (depending on the dates).
Different lenders have different criteria when it comes to tax credits, are they in joint names?I am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a mortgage adviser, so you need to take my word for it. Tax credits are in joint names, she was discharged around 10 days ago so it's only been a year since she declared. If my post helped you in anyway, please hit the "Thanks" button! Please note any advice I give is followed at your own risk!0

I think 10 days probably is a little bit too recent to do it joint.
I would say sit down with a broker. Depending on the details you might be able to get £120-135k on your own + your deposit on top. Possibly more but I think the figures above are more likely achievable.I am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a mortgage adviser, so you need to take my word for it. Thanks ACG.
I never thought they'd even consider her until at least 6 years had passed? If my post helped you in anyway, please hit the "Thanks" button! Please note any advice I give is followed at your own risk!0 -
Sorry, thats my poor sense of humour.
1 year discharged there will be some real adverse lenders who would look at it, 3 years and you might have the odd high street lender.I am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a mortgage adviser, so you need to take my word for it.
