random audit

I received an email from my broker on Wednesday saying

I'm pleased to confirm that your application was sumitted to the abby yesterday (Tuesday) and has been approved and the valuation instructed.

16.30 Friday I had a call to say my application had been selected for a random audit should I be worried ?

    It happens.
Last case of mine to be audited was with Natwest - Im not sure it even held things up in the slightest.
Its just them checking their systems and procedures are working as they should be.

as long as you have been honest, be fine
Don't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.

There's the clue. Internal checking is performed for various reasons and it's not all about you either.

If you've been honest and truthful throughout the process then there's little to concern yourself with.

It is standard Practice with a number of lenders and not about you.
