Bankruptcy Board and bizarre moderating.

Last night I posted on a thread that had become inflammatory. My post was fair and informative. It also tried to damp down the upset.
Today it was removed. The rest of the argument remained for all to see. Aparantly other bits have been removed since. It is ok for someone to ask for help in benefiting from bankruptcy in the most unbelievable way, and yet when someone tries to discourage and emphasise the importance of truth it is rudely removed, with no explanation.
Why?
And why bother posting, if you go to the trouble of spending time trying to help someone, and then for no explained reason, the post disappears.
Why bother.

I usually have a theory or suggestion but that piece of selective moderation has stumped my brain cell.

I firmly believe that if we can bring a little hope into the lives of some who are at their wits end, that its still worth posting. The spoilers aren't worth bothering with but as folk who have gone through the trauma, we care about those about to. I get very angry at times as you all know, however, if I can help in even the smallest way, I will. If the mods don't like what I post, then thats their job. We need to stay guys, the debt situation is getting worse from what I'm reading lately

The posts in question were deleted by the abuse team, they don't explain why they delete posts as per the rules of the furum and as it's gone I can't shed any light.

This isn't really the place to drag it all up again so I am going to close this thread here, if the OP feels they have been unfairly treated a polite PM to the forum team would be a better idea.

The aim of this board is to support people thinking about going bankrupt or already bankrupt and it's always going to be a target for trolls and people who think they have a right to take the moral high ground. Don't let them win, rise above it and report any abuse to the abuse team getting into a fight with a troll gives them just what they want.
