    I plan to save my answers next time: normally I go on automatic and get through it very quickly.

    Yes, my theory is that this is something they messed up when they added in the cash accounting option for this year.
  • I think there is a feedback option: you could tell HMRC how much trouble you have had!

    They may indeed tinker but, personally, I have always had concerns about:
    If you are registered blind on a local authority or other
    register, put ‘X’ in the box

    which has been there forever and a day. :(
