What are our rights us in the security industry of paying this stealth tax just to be able to work.
As we are one of the lowest paid industries i think this is an unfair tax and must be stopped immediatly also refund what we have paid in the past since 2006

If the security industry had controlled their members and their excessive zeal in the past then there wouldn't have been a need to licence people to enable traceability

And how do you think you're going to get it "stopped"? Even if the licence system is scrapped, there is no chance of payments made in accordance with legislation being refunded.

1. Continue paying the subscription/license fee
2. Find another job which doesn't involve having a SIA license.

I would like martin lewis to look into this if its possible, I SEE NOW FROM THE NEWS THIS WEEK THAT THE SIA PROCESS IS NOTHING BUT A SHAM PEOPLE GETTING THROUGH FRAUDULENTLY WELL IS IT NOT TIME THIS TAX WAS SCRAPPED AS IT SHOWS IT DOESN'T WORK
