There is a small symbol on my domestic household electricity meter. It resembles a swastika (see below). Does that symbol indicate that it has an anti-reversal feature? What would be the name of the feature that stops meters going backwards?

I have osteoarthritis in my hands so I speak my messages into a microphone using Dragon. Some people make "typos" but I often make "speakos".

I'm getting old and my eyes are not as good as they were but I'd call that an image of a ratchet rather than a swastika. Are you for real? - Glass Half Empty??
