Take the down the nearest canal with a fishing net. Loads of fun. Costs 1 fishing net or free if you make them out your moms old tights like we used to.:DTallyhoh! Stopped Smoking October 2000. Saved £29382.50 so far!0

Have you got any tesco club vouchers that you could change for days out vouchers? We've just used ours for a day out for 7 to cadbury's world which is somewhere I wouldn't normally pay to visit. Hope you have a good day xxJanuary budget

hello,
I know you've decided where to go, but as I live in the East Midlands where you wanted ideas for, I thought I just post quickly:
My husband and I have fab days out almost every weekend, and we don't have two pence between us! lol. We make up a picnic, and just drive out somewhere close, such as: Elvaston Castle, Darley Park, Markeaton Park, Attenborough Nature Reserve, Carsington Water, Matlock Bath, Melbourne, the list is endless but my point is - you can have long fun days out without it costing you a thing. Just pack a load of sandwiches and goodies, some cans of pop, and you're away! There are places to visit, plenty of wildlife for the kids to see, etc, plus you're all getting some good exercise!
Hope you have fun whatever you do

have you tried the days out forum in the travel trips & holidays section? Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast :beer:0
