FTB Mortgage in Balance HELP!

Hi
Me and my partner are currently applying for a mortgage on a new property. My partner has been with her employer for 5 months and that's not a problem I've been with my employer for 1 & 1/2 years but because I've just changed contracts in December I'm back on probation period again! Our application is currently at the underwriters with natwest and I've seen natwest turn down all applications with people still on probation periods! I earn £15,600 per annum and my partner £14,600 the property we want to purchase is £137,995 with a deposit of £34000. Both our credit ratings are 915 and 913 and neither have been into over drafts or had CCJs against us.
Any help would be appreciated

You are right to be concerned - this is outside of Nat West criteria.
If they pick it up they will decline you.
Your Partners limited history in her role can be a problem with some other lenders.

They have asked to see it but the employer has sent a covering letting explaining my probation is due to company protocol and I am guaranteed the job after 3 months.
With the Mortgage broker, the new build property we are going through at the moment have got us to use there advisor who is extremely difficult to get hold of and I've had to do all the chasing and sort paper work out.
I am worried that if I apply to any other banks now they will see experian as we've applied to two banks 1 being natwest who accepted and 1 being santander who rejected0 -
It is extremely unusual for an employer to confirm in writing that an employee on a probationary period is guaranteed a job as it negates the probationary period.
If they do NW might accept it. Otherwise you are back to the drawing board and better using another broker if this one has failed with two lenders.I am a Mortgage Broker
