Hi,
I currently have a student loans from 1997 – 2000 previouslywith the student loans company now with Erudio (Unfortunately).
I have been following the Erudio t thread for some time todefer my loans as I have done previously with the SLC. I have followed theadvice given at the beginning of the threat. Writing to Erudio with the sampleletter and providing my income etc. However I am a little confused on what to donow and the thread is now at 146 pages and very difficult to find the answers Ineed.
My situation at present is that they refused my deferment asI did not complete their form as suggested in the sample letter, I complainedand my complaint was not upheld and now they are saying I have to repay themand as the complaint took a few weeks to complete they also advised that I owethem £130+.
I was wondering what is the current advice for thissituation,> should I complete their form?
Thanks

This is the Erudio complaint procedure.

You don't have to defer though, you could always just start repaying your student loans.0 -
You should have carried on reading the main thread, you'd have seen that so far zero people have successfully deferred using that sample letter.0

I know I don't have to defer my payment and ifI was in a better financial position I would repay them. I would much preferthat than to try and negotiate with this company.
If people have been unsuccessful with thesample letter what is the current advice? Complete the deferment form?
