Can a person use 2 mortgage brokers at the same time?

The 1st mortgage broker is messing around ignoring phone calls, has had my stuff for about a mo th and so far nothing has appeared on my credit report?
Should anything appear on my credit report when he looks for a mortgage for me?

Will it be possible to go to another mortgage broker cos someone said if you use both at same time you end up getting rejected by everyone and it damages your credit score aswell.

On no account use two mortgage brokers at one.


That is a good way to mess up your credit file and receive rejections and possible blacklisting.


Make it clear to the initial broker that you want them to cease work and withdraw your permission to run any credit searches.


You can then engage a new broker.

my 1st broker is taking too long. but hes had my work for bout a month and half now still no mortgage offers. Waiting for bank to send forms.

is this normal?

Have you submitted a full application? if so, on what date and to whom?
