Pru have lost my Pension

Options
I paid into a works pension in 1979/80 which as i have said previously i forgot about till i was clearing my deceased Fathers premises in 2002.
I came across a letter from Scottish Amicable advising the pension had been transferred to Prudential,i contacted them and got a letter confirming they had received the transfer in June 2003 offering a transfer value or a pension when i become 65.
I have not received any correspondence in the last 11 years so i contacted the Prudential, now they have advised they cannot find any pension in my name.
What should i do ? i still have the letter from the Pru dated 2003

If you are certain that you did not transfer the pension then start by raising a formal complaint http://www.pru.co.uk/contact_us/complaint/
Keep hold of that letter !!

I rang the Pru after receiving the initial letter to discuss the options,i did not need the money so it was left to mature till i reached retirement age.
I have written to them yesterday enclosing copies of all the correspondence including my notes of who i spoke to and the dates of the conversations
Lets wait and see what response i get
