Hello everyone
I have just turned 60 and took early retirement earlier in the year. I have been spending my time on the internet and have totally messed up and got myself a 65k debt, have snapped out of it now but now in a right mess.
Im a level headed person but need some guideance on what i can do as i am not sure if i can take a IVA as i am not in full time employment. My pension is a little over 19k though, what options do I have? At my age the likelyhood of getting another full time job is remote in my industry.
Many Thanks
Steve

Hi
There are lots of things that people need to know. to advise you but your first port of call should be one of the debt charities listed on the first page.
Your options depend on whether you have any equity in your house? What your basic outgoings are and whether you debt is secured on a property or not.If you've have not made a mistake, you've made nothing0
