Ok so to make a story as short as possible,
My flat is on consent to let,
Living with partner who's fixed deal is now ending, Looking at doing a remo in joint names, went to post office, reasonable deal, but they cant do joint names as i already have my own residential,
So anyone have any experiences of any lenders who dont mind if you have more than 1 in this circumstance,
or can we remo in her name and then just add me on after? ,

hi asus
if you have consent to let on the flat most lenders will consider a joint application
depending on the monthly payment and the rental income each lender will have different calculations as to how it effects your affordability on the new application

Many thanks for that, Yes i have a consent to let on mine,
Post office (bank of ireland) said they couldn't consider joint as it would mean i would have more than one residential though i couldnt find it in there criteria, ( though i know published is not exhaustive)
Any sort of general direction to head or just a case of ringing and asking ,
Many thanks again,0
